A 30-day challenge of posting photographs and projects that are new and old to build awareness of my photography and the topics surrounding them.

Red House Fashion Show is a University-Supported runway show under the love and care of Red House Fashion Club at St. John's University. Showcasing many titular talents, the event came with many unique fashions and set designs, giving students on campus a chance to showcase their love for fashion through whatever major they have.
These photos are only some behind-the-scenes for my Christian retreat to upstate New York with my bible study group. It was about capturing the peace, tranquility, and serenity of being together in faith with a loving community for only two days in the hushed wooden environment. Due to the many events from the day, I had only gotten to take many photos and videos in a very short timeframe. Still, as I look through these photos, I realize how much fun, vulnerability, and love the time has brought to me. I would be lying if I said I didn’t miss it; it often is a time that I compare myself to how I can be more intimate with God, and where I can come back to him from what I’ve learned from him thus far.
These photos come from a part of the “Streets” series, an ongoing series of compositions in photograph form, looking to capture the streets and MTA transportation through my lens. Coming back from the train station, I found a man preaching with a bible. Although shy, I pulled myself out of my comfort zone and asked him for a picture; it was the first time I had ever gone up to someone to ask for a picture, and to be honest, doing so with a yelling New York resident was all the more nervous one to me. But he was nice, and I felt like a fly on the wall while events were unfolding. From the people ignoring the man to teenagers testing his faith or asking questions of why he was doing this, it went so swiftly as I thanked him and walked home. It’s always interesting how we’re so good at ignoring people we unintentionally deem lunacy.
Stormin ' Loud is an annual festival for St. John's students; I was one of the lucky photographers to photograph the event to capture the likes of Sol Chyld, Laila!, RUYi, and Toosi.

This project is about how we truly feel when we go through our lives without knowing we're being watched. We know that we're being perceived but now watched; this is an expression I wanted to find in spots of New York: the perceived expression, the unknowing expression, and the truly unbothered expression. These were taken in Brooklyn, Herbert Von King Park.
